DIY Knitted Patchwork Coat

No, I didn't knit that! It is purely for inspiration. I find the way in which we try to keep ourselves preoccupied fairly amusing. As someone that finds it difficult to sit still I set myself a DIY project for the holidays that may have been a bit bigger than me. I set out to knit myself a patchwork coat. Yes, you heard correctly. I was inspired by a girl I saw wearing one in a beautiful colour palette of cream and white with splashes of olive green, dusty pink and orange, and was convinced I could creata a similar one. Four weeks later I've made about 8 squares - please bear in mind that I have never knitted before. Slightly ambitious right? I have a sneaky suspicion I'll still be knitting by next winter.
